Candy Kush marijuana is becoming a popular choice in many medical dispensaries, quickly becoming a firm favorite due to its sweet aroma, candy-citrus flavor and potent effects.

Created from an OG Kush and Blue Dream, the plant retains it’s deep Indica genetics with a dominant 75%, that’s quickly apparent when growing them from seed.

Although used by some for recreational purposes, the buds are often prescribed for people suffering from depression, stress and anxiety, due to it’s strong cerebral high and powerful ‘body-stone,’  aiding rest and relaxation.

Candy Kush feminized marijuana seeds can be cultivated either indoors or outside during the growing season. The dominant Indica genetics produce a medium sized, bushy plant that will reach approximately 1.5 meters tall, depending upon conditions.

Grown indoors, the plants respond well to yield enhancing methods, including, super-cropping, bending, pruning and the Screen-of-Green (SCROG) technique.

As you would expect from an Indica dominant strain, flowering times are short, with the plants requiring between 7 – 9 weeks of a regular 12/12 photo-period to develop and mature when grown indoors.

Harvesting outdoors depends largely upon the location, but generally, they will achieve peak maturity around late September and the first weeks of October.

Outdoor cultivated plants often grower taller and larger, due to the increased space, air flow and the sheer difference the sun can make. Yields are increased, often resulting in harvests of around 17 ounces of good quality buds per plant.

While indoor growers, using some of the methods mentioned above, should achieve yields of approximately 14 ounces per square meter, given a certain amount of experience and knowledge.
